Discussion for the Murray 42514x8A (2000) 42" Lawn Tractor
How many sensors does the model 42514x8a have can you wire around them. i guest go a murray at a garage sale and has been setting up for some time. Put new batter on turn key nothing happens What has to be engaged to make it turn over . thanks for your help
If you have some time on your hands and you don't mind reading electrical schematics.
Go to page "B" on the parts diagram. Grab your multimeter and start checking all the wiring, fuses, components, etc,etc,etc. There may be a way to bypass some of the circuits, buts that is over my head. Or take it to local small engine repair shop maybe they'll give you a quote for no charge.
My husband and I each bought a Murray lawn tractor in 2000
I have a 12.5 hp and he had a 14.5.
We have a 2 acre lawn with bushes banks and lots of bushes and trees to go around.
Both tractors have done an excellent job.
I personally prefer the smaller one. I can oomph it out of the ditch at the bank when the ditch is wet.
