why do I have to buy the complete crankcase assembly when I only need the flywheel side? This kind of thing really gets my goat! (****ing ****es me off)
Since the day I bought this thing It sounded wierd, but not enough to think there was a problem. However, this spring upon start up i noticed the 'wierd' noise quite exagerated and I could wobble the engine back and forth about 5/16" so I disassembled it only to find the half of the crankcase (that I need) had two pieces busted off that hold the rest of the plastic parts together. I'm guessing one of them was broken upon purchase and as I used it, the weakened part gave in! WTF? I'm used to foriegn stuff not breaking but lately have lost alot of faith in that theory. With this said, can you come up with what I actually need, or are you glued to your asian supplier and can't help me?
Unfortunately as you say we are glued to what the manufacture supplies. And as you are well aware of you cannot just order one side of the crank case. And I am sure that you know that the flywheel can be ordered individually. It is part number 6457401.
