I have a Kratcher G2600 which lost pressure.
I pulled the spill valve an it was broken. Ordered a new one and replaced it. Now I have rapid pulsating. I checked the nozzle and water flow, all OK. What should I check next.

Question: Karcher Pump Water Leak

I have a 2 year old Karcher G2600 VH. Intermittent use, mainly cleaning siding and gutters.

While washing gutters yesterday it surged under use, but not all the time. It acted like it had air in the line, but water supply was good, and the problem came and went. I was able to finish my project, but at the very end, the pump started pulsing, for want of a better word, very rapidly, and water started leaking from the general area where the three main components of the pump join together.

I did pull the spill valve, after watching the Youtube video. It appeared clean, with no visible deposits or other problems. I reassembled it, hooked up the water supply, and the pump again leaked, with the engine not running.

What should my next step be? I'd like to repair this myself if possible.

Answered my own question. Disassembled the pump per Mark's instructions and found one of the valves was cracked. Looks like a few buck's worth of parts and I should be good to go.

I have a Karcher g 2600 VH. The pump shaft and swash plate seem to be one piece. The parts breakdown show the swash housing and shaft as two parts attached by a bolt. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi kdog,

The pump shaft is pressed into a bearing in the pump. You will need a bearing press to press the shaft out of the bearing.

My washer has been used less than 10 hours and suddenly it has lost all high pressure. It seems the pump is not working at all when the trigger is pulled? Anyone know where to start to diagnose?
