How do I Find My Bosch Model Number?
Most Bosch products should be easy to identify. In case you can’t find your model number, you should first try to locate your tool’s nameplate or cast. You can find this plate in an area where there is little contact during use (i.e., battery compartment, lower part of the frame, on the bottom of the tool). This plate will display the model number, product number, and the tool serial number. Bosch occasionally stamps or molds the model number onto the product's frame or housing, so a good look-over of your product should turn up the right numbers.
If you’re still having a hard time determining what numbers you need, take a look at some of our tips below: You can find the model number next to the BOSCH logo on the nameplate. Bosch typically uses 4-5 numbers then 1-2 letters in the model number. So if you stumble across a “1710A” next to the logo, you’ve found the model number, and you’re ready to start ordering parts. Still no luck? Our customer service team is always happy to help. Call us at (866) 802-6383. ![]()

Innovation since 1886
Anyone that has used a small engine in their lifetime can thank Bosch for revolutionizing many of the components in the modern-day motor. This includes their invention of a low-voltage magneto ignition, the first diesel fuel injection pump, the first engine oxygen sensors, and the first electronic stability control (ESP). So if you’re looking for a tool with a storied and trusted past, choose Bosch.
