Question: Rockwell Delta Scroll Saw
I have a Rockwell Delta Industrial Scroll Saw in need of a few parts. I cannot find any model Number. Serial Number is 67-281. Where can I obtain model Number information? It is a 24" industrial saw & looks like a Delta 40 series but I need to be sure before ordering parts.
Reply: Rockwell Delta Scroll Saw
Below you find two different series of 40-*** of delta scroll saws. hopefully one will match up to the one you have. I must give you a little warning in advance. There are quite a few parts that are no longer available for these saws.
Question: Blade Change
How do I change the blade on a model #40-406 delta scroll saw?
Reply: Blade Change
The blade is held by two blade clamps (upper & lower). Each clamp is secured by a thumb screw. To change the blade, first, remove the tension on the blade by loosening the blade tension knob. Now you can loosen each of the thumb screws which will release the blade. Install the new blade and tighten both of the thumb screws. Re-tension the blade and maintain the tension by tightening the tension knob.
I hope this helps!
