Discussion for the Ryobi DP102L 10" Laser Drill Press
I have discovered that when I tried to unscrew my laser lights I broke the contacts and separated the wires from the bulbs . I didn't realize that trying to unscrew the bulb would break the circuit. So I have ordered two new laser lights and hope to install them successfully.
In my experience most of the bench top drill presses use a JT33 mount. On the larger floor models with a 5/8" capacity chuck they use the larger JT3 mount. Your chuck is probably a 1/2" capacity. We do have a article and video on how to remove and replace the chuck on a drill press. You can see it at this link How to remove and install a drill press chuck
Hope this helps.

I have had my DP102L for several months. Assembly was a snap. I was able to turn it on without even thinking about it. I have used this tool to drill wood, metal and plastic. I have also installed a drum sander a few times. I find this tool very easy to use. I use it for commercial and residential purposes. In most cases if you abuse a tool, no matter how expensive, it will break. This tool is also good looking. I recommend this press for any workshop.
Bought this tool today in an emergency, have to drill two small holes. Can't find the owner's manual, can't turn the machine on, and it's 30 miles back to the store. Have to turn in the job in 20minutes.Gonna buy a CRAFTSMAN at the local pawn shop, and plant flowers in this thing.
I purchased 3 units for light fab work, 1/4" holes in 16 gauge stock. I broke the gear in two of the units within weeks of purchase. I will never buy the Ryobi brand again.
