Help me Spot My KitchenAid Model Number
KitchenAid makes a wide range of products, and you will find that locating a model number is unique to most of their products. For major appliances, the ID label is silver; for portable appliances, look for a white label. Here we go:
Compactors: On the inside of the compactor's sliding door. Microwave ovens: Inside the door. Blenders: Beneath the blender on the base of the unit. Food processors: Beneath the push-button controls on the base of the food processor. Hand mixers: On the bottom of the mixer, adjacent to the mixer attachment holders. Stand mixers: On the bottom and back of the stand mixer. Toasters: On the bottom of the toaster, adjacent to the electrical cord. This is just an example of the many products KitchenAid produces. If you don’t see your appliance on this list and can’t find your model number, give us a call and one of our technicians will happily help you find it. ![]()
KitchenAid Knowledge Center
You know exactly what KitchenAid does: they make some of the best stand mixers and other kitchen appliances on the market. Whether it’s their blenders, food processors, or renowned mixers, you can count on KitchenAid products to deliver again and again.
But sometimes things break--and in the case of mixer worm gears, they are sometimes meant to break before a mixing load causes more expensive and extensive damage. If that’s happened to you, we’re glad to be in your corner. We stock a full range of KitchenAid spare parts and our Repair Center covers KitchenAid products extensively. So you can spend less time waiting and more time cooking. Check out our helpful repair resources below...

I used your video on how to replace the grease in a KitchenAid mixer. This was a terrific help! I will continue to buy parts from your site.

Backwards Compatibility Gets a New Meaning
Did you know attachments for KitchenAid mixers from the 1930s will still work on KitchenAid mixers today? Though the company has been around since 1919, it was during this time that they expanded their market, with mixers on Navy ships, at big and small restaurants, and an increasing presence in homes. In the ‘30s they streamlined the design, resulting in a mixer that has changed very little--at least in terms of how the attachments work--in more than 80 years.
