This is the insert, also known as a crock or stoneware, for various models of crockpots, also known as slow cookers. This OEM and individually sold crock is made of high-quality black ceramic and can contain up to 6 quarts of contents. While ceramic is a highly durable material, if you leave the cooker on for too long or drop it, it can eventually break, at which point you should stop using your crockpot immediately. If your current stoneware is cracked, broken, damaged or crazing (slowly cracking), it needs to be replaced immediately. Replacing your crock is super simple, and just requires you to remove the old crock and dispose of it and install the new crock in its place.

After time the blades will become dull or break or the spline that is attached to the shaft may wear out. When replacing the Agitator it is advisable to inspect the Sealing Ring, which is in between the agitator and the jar for cracks and if it has been compressed too much, which will cause it to leak from the bottom.
