Question: Hitachi Coil Nailer Nv83a2

By the time you purchased all the parts need to change your stick nail gun into a coil nail gun. with the cost of the parts you could have purchased two coil nail guns. There are just to many part that need to be changed over to accomplish that economically.
Hope that help,
Question: Hitachi Nv83a2
I rebuilt this gun about 4 months ago and everything is working fine except just recently the nailer doesn't feed nails. I replaced the small o-ring for the feeder part number 876796 and the feeder comes up but it is so slow it takes almost 20 seconds to load another nail. I've also had to make my own gasket down by the nail end of the gun because one wasn't supplied with my rebuild kit. I'm wondering if the small air inlet hole isn't lined up correctly and if that has something to do with the nails feeding slow. Thank you, any advice would be helpful.

They actually did away with the bottom gasket on these models. It was replaced by a small o-ring that goes over the air inlet hole you were talking about. Although if you have a homemade gasket and thats keeping it airtight it shouldnt really be an issue. I'd look into a feeder spring 877-851 or possibly the main feed spring 877-144
