Be sure you have the right spark plug for your tool by entering the tool's model number in the parts finder field and accessing the parts breakdown where the right spark plug will be shown.
Replacing the spark plug
1. Remove spark boot
Begin by removing the spark boot with a flat-head screwdriver or a spark boot remover, if necessary.
2. Remove spark plug
Using a scrench, unscrew and remove the spark plug from the engine.
3. Gap new spark plug
Before installing the new spark plug, properly gap the plug using a gapping tool. Determine the right gap for your spark plug and tap down on to the plug with the end of the tool until it the gap is correctly adjusted. Use the ruler along the tool as needed. Your spark plug is then ready to be installed.
4. Install spark plug
Install new spark plug in to the engine and tighten with the scrench. Then replace the spark boot.
