how can you test an armature to see if it's not malfunctioning? put the drill together (one side left open) and you can see sparks, if you help spins the armature it will run briefly, then lock up again. how do I test for continuity? thanks
I engaged the lock for the first time. I figured when I push in the trigger it would dis-engage, but I can't get it to turn off. I unplugged it but that didn't dis-engage the lock either. How do you un lock this drill??
You might try turning the black speed control dial in front of the switch to the highest speed. This will allow the switch arm to go back further and release the switch lock.
