1. Remove the engine cover assembly
Use a screwdriver to remove the five screws and pull the engine cover away from the blower.
2. Remove the spark plug wire
Simply pull the spark plug wire boot off of the spark plug.
3. Remove the valve cover screw
Use a screwdriver to remove the secure on the valve cover.
4. Pull away the old valve cover
It should be free to pull away from the engine with your hands.

Installing the new valve cover
1. Place the new valve cover into position
Set the valve cover back into its original location.
2. Secure the valve cover
Use a screwdriver to re-secure the screw on the valve cover.
3. Replace the spark plug wire
Push the spark plug wire boot back over the spark plug.
4. Reinstall the engine cover assembly
Use the 5 screws that were removed previously to re-secure the engine cover assembly.
