The thermometer is attached to your grill's lid. It reads the temperature inside the cooking chamber. Over time, water can seep into the thermometer. This water will fog the glass with condensation while you use your grill. The water can also cause mold to grow inside the thermometer.
Let's get started.
REMOVING THE THERMOMETER 1. Remove the thermometer.
a. Remove the lid.
b. Remove the wingnut securing the thermometer to the underside of the lid.
c. Remove the thermometer.
d. Separate the thermometer from the bezel.
INSTALLING THE NEW THERMOMETER
2. Install the thermometer.
a. Remove the wingnut from the back of the new thermometer.
b. Install the bezel onto the new thermometer.
c. Install the new thermometer onto the lid assembly.
d. Secure the thermometer with the wingnut.
e. Replace the lid.
