Glitch in your blower switch? It's time to face the fix. Whether you are a legendary landscaper or a yearly yard-shaper, eReplacementParts.com provides the parts, procedures and facts you need to fearlessly fix what fails you.
The ignition switch (also known as the "stop switch" or "run switch") allows you to start, run and stop the engine on your Echo blower. Because it is made of plastic, the switch can become damaged if the blower is accidentally dropped or impacted.
The electrical components inside the switch (including the wires, circuits, and connectors) are also susceptible to damage from corrosion and electrical shorts. Common symptoms of a faulty switch include sudden engine shut-down, inability to start the engine, or (if the switch becomes stuck) the inability to shut-down the running engine.
This article provides step-by-step instructions for removing and installing the ignition switch on an Echo blower (model PB250).
Let's get started. REMOVING THE SWITCH [top] 1. Remove the spark plug.
