Questions & Answers for DCT412S1 (Type 1)

How do I troubleshoot this inspection camera to determine which part I need?
Tommy for model number DCT 412 asked on 2022-12-14
Hi Tommy, Thank you for your question. There is some troubleshooting information in your owner's manual that may help. -Make sure the 12V Max* battery Is charged. - Make sure the screen is fully charged. - Make sure the screen is always attached to the handle set. The picture may freeze If you attempt to remove the (screen) from the handle set while taking a photo or video. - Make sure the battery Is installed on the handle set when in use. - Make sure the camera cable is attached to the handle set properly. - Make sure the handle set is turned on as well as the screen. - Make sure the back of the handle set is not covered with debris so the screen slides on easily and no damage to the screen occurs. - If the screen freezes or won't turn on. Insert a small object (i.e., paper clip end) Into the reset button located on the back of the screen. - If the picture Is dim, roll the brightness control switch to brighten the LED light. Here is a link to your owner's manual that you may reference for more information, https://www.toolservicenet.com/i/DEWALT/GLOBALBOM/QU/DCT412S1/1/Instruction_Manual/EN/N566604_Cameras.pdf. If you require more information, please resubmit your question with details of what is going on with the camera or you may contact DeWalt. Their telephone number is 1-800-433-9258. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
