Slow Cooker: Won't Turn on

Before checking other parts that can be accessed in the interior of the slow cooker, first check the cord and plug the cord into an outlet to test if it works. Tip: when installing a new element, remember that the wires are fragile and can be damaged easily. Replace element with identical structure and be careful not to distort the shape of it as you are installing it.
