The dust bag assembly consists of the fabric dust bag, a wire bag support, and the elbow fitting to attach it to your tool. Most problems with the dust bag involve the fabric bag. The bag can tear and the stitching around the zipper can be torn.

Let's get started.

REMOVING THE DUST BAG 1. Remove the dust bag.

a. Pull the dust bag assembly (from the elbow) out of the dust chute on your tool.

INSTALLING THE NEW DUST BAG

2. Install the dust bag.

a. Install the new dust bag assembly onto the tool.

b. Press the dust bag assembly (at the elbow) until the locking ball detent engages the inner ridge.
