Hi Rich,
Thank you for your question. When filling the iron with water, do not overfill the tank. Only use tap water when using the iron and fill it to the max line on the iron. Lime can build up in the iron overtime causing it to leak. To remove it, fill the iron to the max line with tap water and turn the iron on. Use the steam function until you have used all the water. If the temperature on the iron is too low, water will leak from the iron. We hope this helps!
