How do I remove the handle part from my iron? I dropped my iron and need to replace the body. I have the repayment, removed the bottom and back, but now I am stuck trying to remove the top. Thank you for any help

Hi Bea,
Thank you for your question. For this repair, you will need a screwdriver and some pliers. To remove the handle from the body of the iron, you will need unthread the screws securing the backheel cover, the soleplate, and the handle steam iron. Once they have been removed, you should be able to pry them apart. We hope this helps!
