The single serve reusable basket, is that the only option to replace the reusable single-serve filter with an attached lid for using your own coffee grounds on the K-cup side that originally came with my coffeemaker?

My Hamilton Beach flexbrew started leaking water threw the bottom. I've had it since December. Please advise. Thank you!
Eloisa for model number 49983 asked on 2019-07-12
Hi Eloisa, Thank you for your question. If your flex brew is leaking, you may have buildup in the tank seal. Turn the brew tank upside down over the kitchen sink, then press the dispensing valve (on the bottom of the tank) and flush with water for 30 seconds. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
We have the flex brew single coffeemaker. We have had just a few months and now it just stops before pumping the water into the cup. The water is hot in the tank.
Judy Kersbergen for model number 49979 asked on 2019-07-26
Hello Judy, thank you for your question. Try cleaning your unit with a decalcifier, as most of the time the unit may just be clogged. We hope this helps!

Why is my coffee maker leaking water from the bottom and just started using it ?
KATHY for model number 49983 asked on 2019-08-14
Hello Kathy! Thanks for your question! If your coffee maker pools water underneath after brewing the carafe side it's most likely a specific hose that gets loose where it connects to the spout on top. This will hopefully help you fix it. Take the back off and you'll need a tri-wing screwdriver to remove the bottom panel, labeled size Y1. The rest are standard Philips head. You can risk just reattaching the original clamp but I suggest using something more permanent like a hose clamp. We hope this helps!
The screen has torn on my single serve brew basket for fresh grounds. Is there a replacement for this item? Thank you.
Cindy for model number 49983S asked on 2019-08-15

If they can provide you with a part number feel free to contact us back to see if we have the part in stock. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

Question: Broken Lid

I was hoping I can just get a lid for the carafe, one of the little tabs broke on it and it's not even a year old
The manufacturer does not supply the lid only. The complete carafe would have to ordered.
Question: Brew Basket Spring Tab

i was cleaning my new brew basket and the spring piece popped out. How do I put it back together? I can only find 2 piececes? the sring and the little round nozzle at the bottom.
Am I missing something here?
This also happened to me. There is a little ring that holds them on. By the 3rd time it happened I couldn't find the ring, so I called Hamilton Beach they told me I needed to order a new Brew Basket. I see they are back ordered with no ETA must be a common problem they should work on fixing :(
Hello catmorgan,

Hamilton Beach does not provide any replacement parts for the 990117900 Brew Basket. Unfortunately they are on a factory back order with no delivery date. Hopefully they will be releasing them soon.

Brew Basket Spring Tab Assembly: I have a Hamilton Beach two way brew system - Model# 49983 - My brew basket assembly ALSO came apart when I opened it. I tried to put it back together, but now it won't lock down.
Does anyone have a diagram and / or written instructions how to fix this?

I did order a replacement brew basket and it's arrived, but would like to have the old one as a spare if possible.
