Question: Need Motor

Worleybyrd81

The motor itself messed up and i want to replace it. Its an easy fix for me to do. I already have it taken apart and ready to replace. Can you send me just the motor?
WJA
The manufacturer does not provide the motor for the CHS6000 as a service part.
Question: Chs6000

1270891

I love this little saw but need a new battery pack. Can't find one anywhere. It consists of 5 barrel shaped batteries shrink wrapped together. Any suggestions?
WJA
Hello 1270891,

Black and Decker does not offer batteries for the CHS6000 Type 1 Jigsaw. You may want to try a specialty battery shop.

Question: Charger Battery Pack

1229231

Hello 1229231,

The manufacture has never offered the battery for the CHS6000 as a service part. You may be able to remove the battery from the main housing and take it to a local battery rebuild facility.

Question: Chs6000 Battery

1167949

where can I purchase a battery for my chs 6000 recip. saw? the saw I have is several years old and the battery will not charge.
Thanks
WJA
Hello 1167949,

I cannot see where the manufacture has ever offered replacement batteries for this tool. If possible, take the housings apart to see if you can remove the battery from the tool. If you can, there are many small battery rebuild companies out there that might be able to repair or replace your battery.

Good luck,
-WJA
Hello, out here in Phoenix AS we have a store named Batteries Plus which just may have the batteries for your CHS6000 Saw.
I do use them anytime I have a hard to find battery and they never failed me yet. Give them a call and give them the numbers on those batteries which you need. I hope this helps.
Hello again, I did make a type-o, as I ment to type Phoenix Arizona not AS. The name of the store is Batteries Plus Bulbs, and they may be able to help you with the batteries you need. I also have the very same CHS6000 Saw and I just love it.
Good luck.
Question: Mr

HalDennis

I received a Black & Decker CHS6000 HandiSaw for Christmas a couple of years ago.
I didn't have the need to use it until the other day. I got it out and charged it up. The problem is that it never did charge up. The light (red) on the charger base never came on and it never did get charged.
I'm not sure if I ever did register it?
What recourse do I have for this?
Does Black & Decker have repair persons that will come to Home Depot of Lowe's and repair power hand tools?
Hi Mr,
Go online at link removed ServiceNet and locate your local Factory ASC.Explain your problem. They may ask for your date code which is stamped on the tool.If its still in warranty you will be asked to ship or bring it to their location for repair or replacement. Lowe's and Home Depot are fine but deal direct with the Dewalt Factory ASC about warranty and warranty related issues.Hope that helps.Good luck.
