How to Replace the Filter Kit on a ProTemp Heater

Fixing things makes sense. This article will help you make sense of replacing the filter kit on your ProTemp heater.
ProTemp Heater Filter Kit

The filter kit consists of the air filters needed to keep dust and debris out of your heater's rotor. The kit contains the air filters for the rotor and a new filter gasket. The filters should be inspected often, and replaced when they show signs of dirt buildup. Clean filters allow for unrestricted air flow and better performance.

Let's get started.

REMOVING THE FILTER KIT   1. Safety first.

a. Disconnect the heater from its source of electricity.

b. Drain any excess fuel from the heater.

  2. Remove the top cover.

b. Lift the top cover away from the unit.

  3. Remove the fan guard.
