Product Description ?

This is a genuine Craftsman replacement part commonly used on chainsaws. The purpose of the filter is to keep dust and debris from contaminating the carburetor and engine. When replacing this filter you can place it in a plastic bag with a little oil and rub the oil into the filter. Then remove the filter and squeeze it in a paper towel to remove the excess oil. This will help to capture small particles. Includes one (1) foam filter per order.

To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver.

• Remove filter cover
• Replace old filter element with a new one
• Reassemble and test the equipment

My chain saw had been setting in the garage for over a year and would not start. I noticed that the primer bulb was leaking fuel and that the fuel line was looking dark and was hard. I order the parts and they arrived within a few days. I took the covers off the saw and took the primer bulb off and replaced it. The fuel line took a little longer but it went together easy. Installed the spark plug. Then fueled it up and it started the first pull. Had to do some tuning on the high and low and now I have to go to work......
