Description:
This is an Original Manufacturer Approved Carburetor Kit which includes a Metal Body Walbro WT89 Carburetor, Plastic Grommet and a Plastic Air Filter Housing. It is used on a variety of Poulan Gas Powered Chainsaws. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem.

Carb gummed up, saw not running
I mistakenly grabbed my old saw that had not run in several years, and couldn't start it. Thinking that I didn't want to buy a third saw, I sent for the new carb, Very easy replacement. I removed the two nuts from the air filter assembly. Removed the fuels line from the old carburetor, remember where they go one they carb. Installed the carburetor and placed the fuel lines back on. attach the the air filter assembly, and it fired right up, got that job done and went to put it away and realized it was not my new saw, but the older one, now I have two both running like new. Next I'll try the same thing on a string trimmer that hasn't run for a long time.

Fuel system blocked
I have never had any luck in using a carburetor repair kit. I'd rather buy a replacement carburetor and be done with it. This is the surest way to get the problem solved!

With the help of eReplacementParts, I got all the parts needed and the correct ones! Because the Walbro carburetor manufacturer is notorious for discontinuing one model and replacing it with another, I had to have help and assurance in selecting the correct parts. The carburetor model that was on my saw was replaced with a newer version. eReplacementParts rep made sure I got the right one!

I have done business with eReplacementParts for several years now and, with their excellent and fast service, along with excellent prices, I'll continue to buy my equipment parts from them!!
Thanks eReplacementParts!!!

Old carburetor was shot.
1. Be sure to order the carburetor kit. The modified parts that come with it make the repair easy.
2. Find a video on You Tube that applies to your specific application.
3. Follow the instructions from the video, after collecting the necessary tools to make the repair. Be sure to use a well lighted work area.
4. It was helpful to print a diagram of the fuel line routing.
5. Make sure to replace all old fuel lines and filter while you have the saw disassembled as well as a new spark plug.
6. New fuel lines pull in easy with dental floss tied to them for a pull string.
7. Re-assemble the saw following fuel line schematics and referring to the video. Tighten all bolts to specifications and add new fuel. I also added a new priming bulb to complete the rebuild.

I broke the throttle while attempting to replace the choke that came loose
It was very easy
1. Took the carburetor cover and the carburetor off
2. Inserted the new carburetor and put it back together; did not need to adjust the carb at least not now. it started nicely. (NOTE) be careful, the throttle cable is rather long ( on my Poulan Pro 260) and when I first put it back together, I had a kink in the cable which caused the accelerator to not operate properly.

    Exactly what I needed!
I have purchased my lawnmower parts from eReplacementParts.com for several years with great satisfaction. Their website is very thorough and easy to navigate. If for some reason I can't find what I'm looking for, I have gotten extremely great results using their phone contact.

    Easy repair
The only thing was which line went where. On the original carb.,.both lines were on the same side. New carb......1 on the left and 1 on the right. Just a pain putting it together & taking apart to see if you got it right. A simple sketch would have helped. Everything else was great.

    Bring old chainsaw to life
Found an old chainsaw in my father in law's building hidden under some old burlap bags. It was a Poulan Woodshark. He passed away in 2003 so I was interested in getting it to run. I took it to a small engine shop. They got it to crank but it ran rough. They told me how much it would cost to replace the carburetor but it was a little more than I wanted to pay. I bought a replacement carb from ereplacementparts.com The carburetor fit fine and after I put it on the saw runs great.
