This is a genuine OEM sourced component which is specially made for Poulan and Husqvarna chainsaws. The are two functions of the clutch drum assembly. It encases the clutch and when the engine gets up to a certain speed the clutch will engage the drum assembly. The sprocket which is part of the drum assembly is the part that drives the chain. Please make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this part. Keep in mind this high-quality clutch drum and gear assembly is made of durable metal and is sold individually.
