My gas cap leaks, through the venting port in the middle of the cap. The diagram of the replacement Cap does not show a vent to allow air int the tank. I there a one way air vent in the replacement cap?
WJA
Hello sgsevie,

I went and looked at the 530014347 fuel cap. And it does have a vent in the middle of all the way through. You may have a defective cap. You may want to or order a new one.

Question: Wrong Cap

940471

Has anyone had the experience of getting the wrong cap for the XR20t weed eater?
Could happen, the original cap has a one way air vent that allows air into the tank to replace the gas used when the engine is running. With out the vent a vacuum will build making it hard for the engine to pull gas from the tank.
