The atomizer valve turns the material being applied into a fine spray. When the atomizer valve wears out, the sprayer will no longer produce an even spray pattern. The atomizer valve will wear out after about 7-10 gallons of material have been sprayed through it.
Let's get started.
REMOVING THE ATOMIZER VALVE 1. Remove the atomizer valve.
a. Loosen the locking collar that secures the spray tip to sprayer housing.
b. Remove the spray tip from the paint sprayer.
c. Remove the atomizer valve from the pump housing.
INSTALLING THE NEW ATOMIZER VALVE
2. Install the atomizer valve.
a. Install the new atomizer valve into the pump housing.
REASSEMBLING THE UNIT
3. Reinstall the spray tip (nozzle).
a. Install the spray tip onto the sprayer housing.
b. Secure the spray tip with the locking collar.
