How to Replace the Mesh Filter Basket on a Breville Juice Fountain

The mesh filter basket attaches to the motor coupling on your juicer. As it rotates, the sharp teeth puree your fruits and vegetables, and the fine mesh screen filters the pulp. The mesh filter basket will operate trouble-free for many years, but eventually the teeth will become dull. Corrosion can cause the mesh screen to come loose from the frame.

Let's get started.

REMOVING THE MESH FILTER BASKET   1. Remove the mesh filter basket.

a. Unlock the locking bar.

b. Remove the top cover.

c. Twist the base and pull it away from the juicer.

d. Remove the mesh filter basket from the base.

INSTALLING THE NEW MESH FILTER BASKET

  2. Install the mesh filter basket.

a. Replace the base.

b. Align arrows on the new mesh filter basket with the arrows on the coupling.

c. Push firmly onto the mesh filter basket until it is locked in place.

d. Replace the top cover.

e. Lock the top cover in place with the locking bar.
