  • Best service, best prices, had the parts!
I needeed 3 belts for my mower. erlacement had them. But I noticed there had been a 10% off offer that ended the day before I went to order. I mentioned how sorry I was that I missed it, Donna went the extra mile and got the 10% discount approved! Got the parts in a timely fashion too! Every time I have ordered I found the staff were very knowledgeable about parts and very helpful.

    Belt for Rider Mower
So I am a first time customer and was skeptical of the service bc any time I order anything mower related in the past, they get the wrong item. I called in the order ,my rep she was super cool and proffessional. Easy to order and the pack came fast. When it came time to install I was a bit nervous but sure enough it was the right size! Very happy and I am back on the mower and it works very well. Thanks guys :) -Wesley

Donald for model number 13AJ609G766 asked on 2023-10-27
Hello Donald, thank you for your question. The Upper Drive Belt is 954-0468. This is one of the belts that drives the mower. We have a testimonial on our site with the instructions. We suggest you replace the variable speed belt as well 954-0467A. " 1. Removed mower deck from mower 2. Removed drive pulley from engine 3. Removed stud that's between the drive belt 4. Removed spring from idler gear box 5. Removed drive belt 6. Loosened three bolts that hold the idler gear box so the drive belt could clear the pulley 7. Installed new belts (upper drive belt and variable speed belt also known as drive belt) 8. The worst part in replacing the belts was getting the mower deck back on the mower. We hope this helps.

Lowered the cutting blade pan to lowest setting. Removed the two blade pulley covers by loosening and removing 6 screws with 5/16 socket. Then loosened the belt guard around main drive belt. Next removed two tension pulleys and removed the old stretched belt. Reversed steps to install new built.
Most difficult part was holding the lower end of the pulley bolt with an end wrench to keep it from rotating so the lock nut on top of the pulley could be removed.

replacing deck belt is not such a hard job on my 2016 bronco. you do however have to remove the deck from the tractor to do it. i do it after i remove the deck after the mowing season and clean and oil and check it all out. make sure you see how the old belt goes on so you follow all the correct pulleys.i never allow a belt to break before installing a new one. i mow about a third of an acre and change the belt every three years.

The steering assembly on the wheel was completely worn out. We've used our riding mower heavily for over 10 years.

    Melody - July 6, 2021
We were also changing the front Pivot Axle (ordered separately). We had to use our car jack to jack up the front of the mower - I have a mower jack, but that only picks up one side and we needed both front wheels off the ground. Then we had to remove the wheel on the side with the steering assembly, then the old steering assembly. There were 3 of us working on it - 2 senior females and 1 senior male. It was hard work for us, but we just took our time and got it done without any damages or injuries to ourselves or the mower. Some of the bolts are a little hard to get to - and you have to remove some other things from the front to get to the Pivot Axle - but it was worth it. It is now steering like a new mower once more. I mowed for 3 hours this morning and it worked great. Good to fix things yourself if you can.
