    Hi David, Thank you for your question. To install the part, insert the square nut into the slot and line it up with the hole in the handle. Screw the bolt in snugly, but do not overtighten.     the 1/4 square nut and bolt vibrated loose, came apart and fell out

    bought another 1/4 square nut and bolt. inserted square nut into slot. line up with the hole in the handle and screw the bolt in snugly. do not over tighten. check periodically

    My mower broke the hieght adjuster and I lost one of my wing nuts from all the vibation.

    I replaced the front axle and the height adjuster. Replaced the wing nut and the discharge chute. I propped the mower up and removed the wheels. Then, removed the axle and the height adjuster. Then, replaced all parts.

    Lawn mower handle broke

    The upper handle broke on one side just above the bolts that attached it to the lower handle and I had lost a nut and wing knob that holds the handle in place on the case. Completed the following steps:

    1. Cut the wire tie holding the throttle safety cable
    2. Removed the bolts in the handle
    3. Removed the broken handle
    4. Removed the throttle safety handle
    5. Removed the starter pull cord
    6. Attached the starter pull cord to the new handle
    7. Attached the throttle safety handle to the new handle
    8. Attached the new handle with the bolts
    9. Replaced the new wire tire on the handle to hold the throttle safety cable
    10. Replaced the lost nut and wing knob to the base of the handle on the mower case
