    I pounded the old lower handles out and put the new ones in. Misplaced holding bolts were put in and the two cables were reconnected to the handle

    Removed the broken lower handle from the upper upper handle, then replaced the new handle. Replaced worn red wing nut at the bottom of the lower handle.

    Removed upper handle, leave all cables and starter rope intact.
    Unscrew lower handles and pull out from mower deck.
    Insert new lower handles and reinstall screws.
    Reattach upper handle.

    Unscrewed wing nut and undo bolt and nut. Pull handle out of deck and cut tie wraps. Install new handle and repeat above.....tighten nut, wing nut and 2 new tie wraps.
