ereplacementparts DOES NOT have an effective escalation process (as well as other problems)
Customer service folks are great, BUT... I ordered some mower gaskets, including head gasket. They came in a bubble envelope and head gasket was creased. CS was helpful and ordered another part with "note to shipping" not to use just bubble envelope. 5 days later, got 2nd part in bubble envelope and creased like a taco. They got me another (with another note to shipping) and next day shipped the part. 3rd part arrived in bubble envelope and was creased. CS repeated process again with next day ship. Did not get the 4rth part and called to follow up and found that it was ON HOLD to ensure proper shipping. Got it 2 days later. Yes, 4th part arrived creased in bubble enveloped. Called corporate to speak to the man (David Fairbanks). Was told that he "always returns calls". Never heard from him (obviously, his time is more valuable than mine), but 5th part showed up in a box with paper (cardboard in bubble envelope would have been better). Luckily, it was OK. 17 days later and 2 hours of my time on phone and shipping back creased parts. David, send me a ticket and cover my expenses and I can come out and fix these problems for you in 2 days. Add up all the labor and shipping cost you have in getting me (just one customer) one good part and you should be able to realize it would be money well spent. BTW, I am well qualified to handle this for you. THANK YOU TO ALL MY NEW FRIENDS IN ereplacementparts CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU FOLKS ARE GREAT.

Muffler was loose & louder without a gasket. Could never get it tight until now with the help of this lock set. If the lock set didn’t work I was going to use red permanent lock tight.

Gas was getting into the oil. Did total carb rebuild, added gas shut-off valve, pulled head and cleaned the head. Adjusted valves, and replaced bad starter. Started right up. I have the manuals for doing the work. I also made copies of the diagrams off of the internet. Good idea for some people is to take pictures from start to finish so you do not miss anything.
