I had a intake valve seat to come out of its slot. I bought a new head thinking it would be easier than installing a new seat. My exhaust push rod goes in and out when I hand turn the engine over. My intake push rod does not go in as far and will not move when the engine is turned over. What could my problem be. Thanks for your help.

Hello Charles, Thank you for the question. Sounds like something is preventing the pushrod from going all the way down such as the tappet. I would open the crankcase, remove the camshaft and check the condition of the intake tappet and housing around it. It may be stuck. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair.
