Product Description ?

This is an Original Manufacturer Approved Carburetor Assembly used on a variety of Gas Powered String Trimmers. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won\\\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem.

    Very easy to install
I received a carburetor for a weed eater that was not hardly functioning at all. 3 screws and two small gas lines was all it took to take the old off and the new one on. Fired right up as if it were brand new.

    I installed the new carburetor
After installing the new carburetor it still would not start on it's own. I had to spray starting fluid in the air intake. I also use new ethanol free gas.

Would recommend that if you are putting on a new carburetor that you go ahead and spend a couple extra bucks and get a new intake gasket and air filter. I have had some cheap weed eaters over the years that never lasted. I bought an ECHO about 15 years ago and just know had to replace the carb. Worth spending the extra bucks for a good product.

Only one question- in a bottom separate compartment of the plastic bag the carb was in there were two tiny black plastic pieces- about 1/16 x 1/16". I have no idea what they're for. Trimmer runs just fine without using them however. I would like to know what they are though.
