2. Checked gap on plug used socket to remove old one and install new one- 5 minutes
3. Undid wingnut to remove air cleaner cover and took out old air cleaner and replaced with new one- 5 minutes
4. Changing fuel filter was a little tricky. The fuel filter is on the end of the fuel line which sits in the bottom of the fuel tank. Pulled fuel lines out of tank by pulling out rubber grommet which is on top surface of fuel tank. Pulled old fuel filter off the end of fuel line. New filter was significantly bigger than old one and was too big for the hole that the grommet came out of. Had to replace grommet with fuel lines back in top of tank and then fish the fuel line out with needle nose pliers. Then put new filter on fuel line and was able to feed it back into the tank through the fuel filler hole. This took about 10 minutes.
5. The trimmer runs just fine- I am just a home owner but there is a reason why the professional yard guys use Echo equipment. I have an Echo Back pack blower in addition to the trimmer and both are rugged beyond belief.
Would not idle at first, then would not start. Leaking fuel from gas tank.
