    Toro w/ Honda engine
The air cleaner case had been redesigned, resulting in a confusing couple of leftover parts from the assembly. Otherwise the replacement arrived quickly, fastened up perfectly and works fine!

    Fits great
This fit my mower, however it only had two holes where mine had a third, could be drilled if desired. Watch out for gaskets falling out, two of them.

    Replacement parts.
    Arrived quickly, thank you!
    Guest - June 4, 2019 Verified Purchase
You better know what you are doing because once the bolts are removed the carb and mating parts are either in your hand or lying on the deck of the mower. I would also advise buying new gaskets.
Not quite an exact match. I have an older model Honda which has 3 holes in the housing whereas this on only has 2 holes. The additional hole can be drilled, it adds stability the the housing.
    Guest - May 29, 2019 Verified Purchase
Wrong parts received. Front tires instead of rear tires. Air clearer case assembly issues too.
The part was missing one hole for mounting.

I took out the 2 bolts holding the air cleaner case assembly on and replaced the assembly, the element and put the new cover on. It was easy except I didn't know the same bolts also held the carburetor on and it fell off so I had to put it and the gaskets back on too. I couldn't find replacement parts locally so I'm glad I found replacementparts.com. Shipping was fast too. I was back mowing in no time. Thanks!

This was a log splitter that would only run with choke full open. Tried couple of things on forums with no luck. When I pulled the carburetor to clean, I found couple of gaskets in bad shape & air filter casing bolted to carb was cracked so figured air was being sucked in around/thru gaskets/casing causing engine to run having too much air mixture. All good now. Was difficult to get all gaskets on at one time by slowly pushing the 2 retaining bolts thru as each gasket would be inserted in its place. Very little room to work in. Using your expanded diagrams made sure I had each gasket in correct position. Was amazed at your low prices! Great website!

The latch side that broke was on the engine side of the engine so I took the bracket off and that lets the carburetor come off. I had the gas shut off , took my air hose and blew out the carburetor then reinstalled the new air cleaner bracket and the original carburetor, put in a new filter put the new cover on it and started the lawnmower. It ran perfectly.

Air cleaner case had cracked at the snaps.

    David - June 3, 2018
Pulled old case off. I studied the on line video which was very helpful. On the video he does the repair by himself. I strongly suggest a second pair of hands that can hold the assembly together as you slip on the gaskets, governor etc.

With the broken air cleaner assembly, the cover could not latch fully and let in some debris. I could have only replaced the assembly but as it was my annual maintenance time I decide to replace the whole system. This was a good idea because there was some debris throughout the area for the carburetor intake area, fine dust/grass particles. Easy to accomplish, just be sure you have a torque wrench for the gasket bolts. Over-all moderate (because of torque settings) but ereplacement Parts cam through (again) with everything I needed.
    Thanks
