1. Took the air cleaner cover off.
2. Removed the two bolts that held the inner air cleaner housing on.
3. Removed the old air cleaner gasket behind the inner air cleaner housing.
4. Replaced the new air cleaner gasket behind the inner air cleaner housing.
5. Replaced the inner air cleaner housing with the new one

6. Installed the new air cleaner.
7. Installed the new air cleaner cover.
The only trick to replacing the cable is being able to adjust the length at the lever side so that the position of the metal rectangle that engages the wheel drive system is just about 1/16\"-1/8\" beyond the drive\'s lever under the mower. That rectangle end has to slip over the drive lever and that is the only trick to this install.
I took out the 2 bolts holding the air cleaner case assembly on and replaced the assembly, the element and put the new cover on. It was easy except I didn\'t know the same bolts also held the carburetor on and it fell off so I had to put it and the gaskets back on too. Remove the air cleaner cover
Remove the old air filter and replaced it with the new one
Put the filter cover back on
Removed the old spark plug
Gapped the new one at 0.030 and installed it
After cleaning the old carburetor (hunting not corrected), installed the new carburetor. The engine continued to hunt.
