My very reliable Honda Gen Set began leaking oil slowly. I went to ereplacement parts website and a diagnostic was the oil filler gasket and it turns out that's all it was. For pennies and in less than 15 minutes the problem was solved and I did not get ripped off by a dealer service center.
    Thank you ereplacement parts!

My old (about 15 yrs) portable generator has oil and fuel leakage problems when we had to crank it up in the middle of the night during a power outage.

    Dorsey - August 7, 2016
I replaced the oil filler cap and gasket and put a new gas filler cap and gasket on and....VOILA....it's working perfectly. Lesson learned was to do those necessary maintenance chores before the power goes off during the middle of the night and it's necessary to crank up the generator to keep the refrigerator and freezer from thawing. Found this parts-supplier and placed order online. Fast service was a big help. Thanks a Million. Dorsey Howard- Chester, Virginia
