Honda engine started burning oil and metal dust in oil.

1.Disassemble the Honda GX31 engine.
2. Identify worn parts
3. Hone cylinder bore.
4. Replaced piston, rings, piston pin.
5. Replaced oil seals
6. Reassembled engine.
7. Allowed rtv sealant to cure for 24 hours that sealed engine block.
8. Added engine oil and started engine.

Honda GX31 year 1997 an oil leak covered entire engine

I had to dissemble the engine the shroud and all the parts ( teardown) . I'm not a professional mechanic and this was a learning "lesson". I made a few mistakes since this was my first time doing engine repairs, but found that EReplacement web site helped a lot (diagrams) and part numbers, which speeded up part picking. The oil leak is fixed since I replaced the seals and head gasket. So far the Honda started right up, but haven't used it yet since the weather has been raining.
