The seals for the air cleaner cover, and body panel on my Honda EU2000i generator had disintegrated over 12 years of use.

Remove air filter cover. Clean old seal from channel. Clean channel with cloth. Install new seal.
Remove old seal from the top of the air filter access body panel. Clean the seal area with a clean cloth. Remove the protective film from the new seal's 'adhesive side'. Apply the new seal to the body panel. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to position ends of seal under the channels in which the body panel seals have just been replaced.
Replace air filter cover. Tighten mounting screw with flat-blade screwdriver. Replace body panel. Tighten mounting screw with flat-blade screwdriver.
Missing air cleaner after picking up from repair shop.
