husky chain saw would not start
After checking a few things i noticed the carb was not sucking gas through the line . Pulled the plug and put a small amount of gas in and on the plug . It fired right up but only ran a few seconds. Problem solved. Ordered a new carb and gasket. Had a walboro but the zama carb runs like new. Every thing lined up with no problem. Started after about 6 pulls but only takes 2 or 3 now when cold. If hot starts up first pull. Easy fix and runs like new. No special tools needed except one to adjust carb if needed but it comes preset .Thank you E replacement parts .

Chainsaw wouldn't run or ran erratically.
Cleaned up the entire saw. Replaced air filter and bad fuel line and filter. Also replaced the carburetor kit and gasket. Ordered the wrong carburetor plate and luckily was able to use the old one. Also ordered the carburetor adaptor just in case but also didn't need it. Saw appeared to be turning too many RPM's when I could get it to run. I initially tried cleaning the carburetor with carb flush and got it to improve somewhat but unfortunately had to end up replacing carburetor kit. Saw is now operating smoothly. The videos and repair advice on your website really was a big help. Thanks!

The plastic impulse pipe was no longer making a good seal (20 year old saw - original equipment).
1) Removed the shroud covering the saw's air filter/carburetor.
2) Removed the air filter/air filter plate/carburetor/carburetor plate.
3) Replaced the impulse pipe between the cylinder head and carburetor plate.
4) Reinstalled the carburetor plate & carburetor (replacing the old gasket - making sure the fuel line was routed where it was not kinked, or crimped).
5) Reinstalled the air filter plate and replaced the air filter.
6) Reinstalled the shroud.

quick delivery. It is a gasket, what can I say. I also ordered an ignition component that came in the same delivery. Both work just fine.
