    I removed the handle , and trigger assemble and the belt still does not fit right. This is the second one you sent and it its the same. I dont beleve this is the correct part , but your service rep said all the DW 716 belt cover were the same. If that is true none of them fit.
    I had to make adjustments by cutting the new cover to get it on the saw. It looks like hell.

    Lefthand thread carrige bolt twisted off

    Removed old lock shaft as piece of carriage bolt was lodged in it. Removed blade guard to allow the screw to be inserted into position. Inserted carriage bolt and carefully replaced blade guard return spring into guard housing. Used new screw to attach locking lever to new shaft. Ensured spacer washer was installed, tightened and repair was complete.

    1. Remove the battery.
    2. Remove the blade.
    3. Remove rubber stop for guard.
    4. Move guard to access carriage bolt, and replace.
    5.Reinstall rubber stop.
    6.Install washer, shaft, and lever.
    7. Adjust, and ready to use again.

    Insert the shaft into the lever and stew it in. The thread the shaft to the washer and bolt on the depth adjustment rack

    Found table saw at dump, shaft spun true,fence wobbly,. so took it home. Powered fine.

    Fence is a nice rack/pinion design, but would not self align. Disassembled to find bearing assembly on outfeed side with broken housing (plastic) causing alignment issue. Installed it and missing throat plate. One mans trash is another mans treasure! Right parts, right price, thank you.

    I found the parts, thanks to the easy blow up parts page. Got the parts in the mail, and it took ten minutes to install. It was a height adjustment screw and lever handle. Nothing tricky about it other than installing them in the right line up.
