2. Remove the rod from the lock with a wrench.
3. Install the new lock, tighten and adjust the rod for tension. Done

2. Removed one bolt that held the lever.
3. After extending rod completely install and adjust until the miter adjustment will lock.

2. With a punch knock the pin out from left to right
3. The lever should fall in your hand along with a bar that locks the saw from moving, when the handle is pushed down.
4. Pull the lock rod and hardware off the old and place on the new.
5. Install in the reverse order. Make sure to set the pin into the saw completely. Also insure the lock rod is adjusted to the new handle.
