Elevated front of mower to remove the Tie Rod from both Left and Right Spindle Assemblies and then both Spindle Assemblies from old Axle. Next removed 5/8-11 bolt and lock nut that fastens the Front Axle to the Front and Rear Axle Braces. Next removed bolts that hold the front Axle Brace along with Front Chassis Suspension Bracket to remove Axle. Next Reinstalled the new Front Axle with new Axle Brace Spacer and Axle Spacer back onto the mower in the reverse order of disassembling. Replaced all Bearings for both Left and Right Spindles and installed onto the new Axle. Next installed new Draglink Bushing to the right Spindle and installed Tie Rod. Remember to grease both the Axle Spindles and Both Tire Spindles.

    1. Didn't know exactly how to match parts, so I jacked the front of the mower up and braced on blocks with both wheels off ground; took off the left front wheel to find which parts were needed. Searched for parts on the web and ereplacements had the parts and with pictures. This was a great help to know I was getting the right parts. Also, the tutorials of others who had had replaced the same parts was a big help.
    2. Cleaned the axle shaft and left front wheel parts, regreased all pieces and put back together.
3.Did the same with the right wheel using new parts.
Not a hard job. This is an old mower passed down from others. Did not realize how much the front axle and parts were in need of greasing.
