Questions & Answers

WHAT WOULD BE THE CULPRIT IF THE ENGINE STARTS QUICKLY THEN DIES EVEN BEFORE IT GETS TO RUN? DO YOU THINK IT'S THIS PART THAT CAUSES TO STALL.
EMERY for model number 030430-01
Hello Emery, Thank you for the question. This sounds like a dirty carburetor. I suggest taking it apart and cleaning it out and check the gaskets to make sure they do not need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

Fuel leaking from fuel tank of generator
Remove the old fuel valve and bushing. Insert the new valve partially into the new bushing and then insert the valve with bushing into the hole in the fuel tank and push on both until the bushing is seated properly in the hole and the valve snaps firmly into the bushing. It wasn't quite as easy as it sounds and I had to carefully use a rubber hammer to get the fuel valve all the way into the bushing properly, but it worked and there are no leaks. My generator is back in service, just in time for winter snow and ice storms!

The fuel valve leaked gasoline
Drained the tank (this took 30 minutes) by removing the fuel line from the filter
In hindsight I should have replaced the fuel filter too
Carefully worked the valve free from the underside of the tank
Then reinstalled the new valve

    MISSING PARTS POOR SUPPORT
My part arrived except it had two bushings in it's package and no valve so I used one of the new bushings and my old valve since I needed my generator working. When I called I was told I needed to send the package back and reorder when I told her what I had done I was told I could order a new one WHY would I spend more money on something I didn't receive in the first place so I'll work with my old valve and never purchase from you again. And I'm not recommending your company to anyone
