    1. Clamped the fuel line from the gas tank to prevent fuel from leaking.
I used a pair of Vise Grips for this step.

    2. Using a pair of pliers remove the spring clamp from each side of the fuel filter.

    3. Pull the off both fuel lines, one on the intake side and one on the discharge side.

    4. Push the fuel lines onto the fuel filter, pay attention to the arrow on the filter which
indicates the direction the fuel flows.

    5. Using your pliers move the spring clamps to secure the fuel lines to the filter.

    6. Remove the Vice Grips.

    7. Start the mower and check for leaks.

This task was a tune-up for my lawn tractor. I replaced the Oil and Filter, Gas Filter, Air Filter and Spark Plug. What I liked most about eReplacementParts.com was that I was able to put in my Craftsman Model Number and the complete parts list for the tractor was itemized. Thank you so much, you made this a very easy task. I also plan to perform this maintenance service every year or as needed.

    Regards,

    Gerry C.
