Product Description ?

This air purge body assembly is a genuine OEM component. It is specially designed for Echo and Shindaiwa handheld lawn and garden equipment. By pressing on the purge bulb, it will force fuel into the fuel line from the fuel tank into the carburetor. Once the carburetor is full of fuel, the excess fuel will be purged back into the tank in the fuel return line. At some time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack and need to be replaced. It is a complete assembly which includes the plastic body housing and the rubber bulb. To ensure the correct installation of the new part, refer to the diagrams of your specific model. You will need a screwdriver to remove the old assembly and connect the new one.

Parts arrived earlier then estimated, well packaged and perfect fit. Had the parts install in ten minutes, and my issue was resolved and I’m up and running. I would not hesitated to order again.

    Fine product
Item was just as advertised. Didn't fix my issue, but no fault of the product. I think my carb is bad.

Cleaned unit as much as possible before disassembling it. Removed the old gas tank & hoses Reinstalled the new unit & connected the hoses. Removed old purge bulb & air purge body & replaced. Just took a little time ,patience & a few simple tools. This shindaiwa trimmer was purchased in 1992 & has just been 1 excellent machine. Got it back together & is now running fine again. 26yrs of operation.....what can ya say if it needs a few replacement parts.

Engine would not support load, idle was fine, but would not accelerate

    Bruce - June 1, 2017
Easy disassembly of the air cleaner and carb. Removed blocked pick up filter and replace fuel supply line. Blocked passages in carb blown free with carb cleaner and compressed air. Replaced spark plug, engine ran like a top. Too easy!
