It is used to remove the dust and other contaminants the from the air going into the carburetor. This pleated paper cartridge is sold individually. Please note, the foam pre-cleaner is not included, it is sold separately.
Replacing this filter-air cleaner cartridge is a very simple task that does not require any tools.
• Remove the cover
• Take out the old cartridge
• Secure the new cartridge

2. Spayed carb cleaner in the carb to loose any buildup.
3. Crank the engine, with engine running spray carb cleaner to clean the intake system.
Note: if engine is not turning over keep spraying carb cleaner into the intake while cranking the engine. After a while let it rest and try again.
4. Replace fuel filter and spark plug.
5. Install new air filter.
