    My order
I love replacement but someone needs to have the web site upgraded. Some one needs to take off the website the things you no longer carry or supply plus the things that are no longer available from the mfg.

Broken cable from brake/clutch pedal in front to clutch and brakes in rear of rider-mower

    William - July 25, 2021
    Tool Type

    Lawn Tractor

    Difficulty

    Medium

    Time

    1-2 hours

    Tools Used

    Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set

After ten years of use, the cable broke at the foot pedal due to bending whenever the foot pedal was pressed down to stop the Snapper rider-mower. The five parts purchased together form part of a single system, however it would have been possible to purchase only the "Cable, Clutch" while salvaging and re-using the brake cable and other parts. After studying how the original clutch cable and brake cable were attached, it was not difficult to connect the replacement cables properly. I needed a second pair of hands to keep the front end of the cable from slipping down into and becoming lost in the connecting tube while I connected everything at the rear of the mower. Otherwise, this was a one-person job.
