Description:

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement hardware designed for use with snowblowers. Shear bolts are installed in order to protect your unit. If the auger gets jammed or clogged, shear bolt is designed to snap at a certain point of pressure, so it will not damage any other part of the unit. It is made from metal and it is sold individually. You will need a wrench to remove or install this bolt.

one shear pin was missing.

Installed the shear pin, spacer and nut on the left shaft of the snowblower. All working now.

The teeth broke off the front auger

Removed belt cover and belt and separated snowblower removed belt pulley and removed bolts holding auger assembly and tapped the auger drive shaft out of rear bearing removed front augers and separated front gear assembly and removed shafts and tapped gear off the the auger shaft and installed new gear and cleaned housing and reassembled and installed new grease and reinstalled augers and impeller and reinstalled back into blower housing and reinstalled belt pulley and reconnected blower assembly to engine assembly and reinstalled belt and shield and rechecked everything and ran blower.

Auger shear pin broker during use

Replace the auger's shear screw, spacer and nut/ Operated snowblower right after and repaired auger worked as expected.
